walker

ellen has been getting brave. today she took 8 steps...a new ellen step record. the previous mark was 1 1/3. it is different to see her standing up more and more now. she is entering the pan-african marathon next month. training starts tomorrow morning.

I would recommend starting with a basic three-miler, with a pace that you can feel comfortable holding a conversation. After the run make sure there is plenty of stretching and rehydration. I found water works best replacing the electrolytes. After she feels recuperated from the run I would take her to an open area where we can do box jumps and work on core-training. Remember all our power comes from the core.
